Privacy Policy

How MarginGlow handles personal data.

This policy explains how Tao Climate Limited collects and uses personal data when people visit, register for or use MarginGlow.

1. Data controller

Tao Climate Limited is the data controller for MarginGlow. Registered office: 2 Dispensary Lane, Rathfarnham, Dublin D14 N6Y5, Ireland. CRO 730527. VAT IE4117413PH.

2. Data we collect

We may collect account and contact details, business information, Google listing selections, website details, prompts, Check-up responses, uploaded documents, generated outputs, tasks, feedback, support communications, billing references, usage records, device information, IP address, cookies and analytics events.

Stripe processes payment-card details. MarginGlow does not need to store complete payment-card numbers.

3. Why we use data

We use personal data to create and operate accounts, deliver AI services, save business context and outputs, process payments, provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse, improve product reliability, understand usage and communicate important service information.

We may send marketing messages where permitted. Marketing choices can be changed and consent can be withdrawn without affecting essential service communications.

4. Lawful bases

Depending on the activity, processing is based on performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and improving a secure business service, or consent where consent is required.

5. AI processing

Information submitted to MarginGlow may be processed by AI systems to create requested outputs. Users should avoid providing unnecessary personal data and should only provide information they are authorised to use.

We may analyse aggregated or appropriately de-identified operational patterns to improve product quality. We do not sell personal data.

6. Service providers and recipients

We use Google services including Google Cloud, Firebase, Gemini and Google Analytics for hosting, authentication, data storage, AI-assisted outputs and product analytics. We use Stripe for payments and billing, HubSpot for customer relationship management and website interactions, and email-service providers for transactional and support communications.

Data may also be disclosed where required by law, necessary to protect rights or security, or connected with a lawful corporate transaction.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.

8. Retention

We retain account and workspace information while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for recovery, security, legal, tax and dispute purposes. Billing records may be retained for statutory accounting periods. Support, analytics and security records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose.

9. Security

We use access controls, managed cloud infrastructure, encrypted connections, restricted service accounts and other organisational and technical safeguards. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies and tracking

MarginGlow may use necessary cookies and local storage for sign-in, security, preferences and workflow continuity. Google Analytics and HubSpot may collect analytics and interaction information. Where legally required, non-essential tracking will be controlled through consent choices.

11. Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions and exceptions, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Requests should be sent to hello@taoclimate.com. We may need to verify identity and authority before releasing or changing information.

12. Complaints

You may raise a concern with us first. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority.

13. Changes

We may update this policy as MarginGlow, applicable law or our processing changes. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
